Hello...I'm Evon, Certified Mastectomy Fitter (CMF)
In 2018, at age 48, I was diagnosed with “Stage 3” breast cancer in my right breast. I was also diagnosed with the BRCA-2 gene. I did five months of intense chemotherapy before surgery to shrink the tumor, then had a modified right breast mastectomy followed by 33 treatments of radiation. Since I carry the BRCA-2 gene, I am at a higher risk for other types of cancers. I have had preventative surgery to remove my left breast, ovaries, and fallopian tubes. I know that cancer has made me realize that life is just too short!! Loving and being loved by my husband, wonderful family, and the best friends on this planet who stuck by me and loved me unconditionally is the BEST feeling ever!! I feel so blessed to share my life with them. My journey made me aware that we had very limited options available for women in Hawai’i. Together we are going to change that! We are not a one size fits all type of boutique, you will have different choices of prostheses and bras to choose from. When you come in for your visit, together we will find what’s best for “you”. When you leave the boutique I want you to feel great and fulfilled with your choices. I can’t wait to meet you! Did I mention that I’m really big on hugs? XOXO...Evon
